Before a wheel had even been turned in anger in Hungary, there was already big news after it was announced Kevin Magnussen wouldn't be driving for Haas next year – the Dane joining a number of drivers looking to secure their future in the sport.
But along with the driver market chat, there is also plenty of intrigue over who is the favourite going into the 13th race weekend of the season. Lewis Hamilton is still riding high following his victory last time out at Silverstone, but Lando Norris sounded confident of having a strong car.
As for Max Verstappen, many believe the hot conditions will favour the Red Bull – and that could mean a return to winning ways for the Dutchman. He doesn't seem to be feeling the pressure but his team mate is, with Sergio Perez needing a strong result to silence some swirling rumours about his future.
