The Mexico City Grand Prix got off to an eventful start as Max Verstappen led away the Mercedes pair from pole position, but home hero Sergio Perez managed to pry P3 off George Russell into Turn 4.
Verstappen and his Red Bull team mate Perez began the race on soft tyres and both drivers used that to their advantage over the medium-shod cars of Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and George Russell.
