WATCH: Tsunoda goes into barriers backwards after Turn 4 spin
Yuki Tsunoda has scored two points finishes in the last three races, but the rookie got his weekend off on the wrong foot in Hungary when he lost control of his AlphaTauri in the second half of opening practice.
The 21-year-old Japanese driver lost control at the Hungaroring's quick left hander at Turn 4, his car snapping backwards before bumping into the barriers. The impact was fairly light, but it remains to be seen whether he will need to have a new gearbox fitted ahead of Friday afternoon's FP2 session.
