Lando Norris clinched an impressive pole position in Qualifying for the Mexico City Grand Prix, with the McLaren driver beating Ferrari's Charles Leclerc by 0.262s.
Lando Norris put together a stunning lap in Qualifying at the Mexico City Grand Prix to beat Charles Leclerc to pole position during the closing moments of the session.
While Leclerc had initially secured provisional pole when the first runs of Q3 played out, Norris went even faster on his final effort by pumping in a lap of 1m 15.586s.
Leclerc’s subsequent improvement was not enough to beat Norris’ time, the Ferrari man ending up 0.262s adrift of the McLaren.
