With both the constructors' and drivers' titles having already been wrapped up, there was a danger the Sakhir Grand Prix might become something of a non-event. In the end though, it turned into one of the most entertaining races of the year, and produced another first-time winner as the 2020 season continues to throw up surprises.
Sergio Perez took his very first F1 victory at the 190th attempt, but there were amazing strories up and down the grid - not least with George Russell, who was parachuted into the Mercedes at short notice to replace Lewis Hamilton, but was instantly up to speed and even looking likely to win, before a pitstop mix-up and a puncture intervened.
