Kimi Antonelli will line up on pole position for Sunday’s Miami Grand Prix, marking his third consecutive P1 grid slot of the season.

The Mercedes driver went fastest of all in Q3 of Qualifying at the Miami International Autodrome with his time of 1m 27.798s, his first lap during the final segment.

While he did not better his effort on his second run, that time was unbeaten by Antonelli’s rivals, with closest challenger Max Verstappen 0.166s back in P2 for Red Bull.
