Oscar Piastri topped the timesheets in Friday's second practice session, backing up the pace shown by his McLaren team mate Lando Norris in the day's earlier session in Spain.
McLaren proved to be the team to beat after setting the pace in both one-hour practice outings on the opening day at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

The Australian's 1m 12.760s effort in FP2 was 0.286s faster than George Russell could manage for Mercedes, with Max Verstappen and Norris level on the timing screens 0.310s back in third and fourth respectively.
