Given Formula 1 hasn't raced in Monaco for almost exactly two years – with last year's race called off after the Covid-19 pandemic hit – you could be forgiven if your memory of the last Grand Prix in the Principality is a little hazy.

After a strategy mix-up in qualifying saw Charles Leclerc start down in 16th in his first home race for Ferrari, the young Monegasque was in a hurry to make up places and pulled off a couple of bold overtaking manoeuvres – before picking up a puncture when another move proved to be too ambitious.
Up at the front, Lewis Hamilton was leading, but was far from comfortable on his tyres in the second half of the race, as Max Verstappen lurked menacingly behind him. Check out the video to see how it all played out, before F1 returns to Monte Carlo this weekend.
