WATCH: Alpine suffer early double-DNF as Ocon and Gasly collide amid Turn 1 melee
A nightmare start saw both Alpines retire from the Hungarian Grand Prix - the second race in a row at which the French team have suffered a double-DNF. And to add insult to injury, neither Esteban Ocon nor Pierre Gasly was ultimately to blame.
The two team mates came into Turn 1 side-by-side, and looked to be giving each other racing room. That was until Daniel Ricciardo - who had been hit from behind by Zhou Guanyu - ran into the rear of Ocon, tipping him into a collision with Gasly.

Both Alpines made it back to the pits, but sadly the damage was terminal. A five-second penalty for Zhou for triggering the incident was no doubt of scant consolation. Watch the full drama unfold in the video above.
