The story of the Austrian Grand Prix battle wasn’t about one bit of contact, but about several manoeuvres in the build up to it, which set the tone for the final dramatic moment.
Max Verstappen was unlucky in Austria when a slow pitstop cost him four seconds of his hard earned advantage, when it looked like the Dutchman had victory in his pocket. From there it was race on, with he and Lando Norris fighting incredibly hard over almost 10 laps – with a number of flashpoints.
