SUNDAY MORNING DEBRIEF: Why Ferrari's deficit to Red Bull was halved in Saudi Arabia


The podium finishing teams were exactly as in Bahrain last week, and in the same order: Red Bull (Max Verstappen), Red Bull (Sergio Perez), and Ferrari – this time in the form of Charles Leclerc.
The Ferrari was again clearly the second-fastest car, but this time Leclerc had managed to halve his team’s deficit. From 39s in Bahrain, he was trailing Verstappen by 19s as the flag fell in Jeddah.
