The papaya team secured the best possible result around the Yas Marina Circuit as Oscar Piastri slotted into second place, but a determined Carlos Sainz will be hot on their heels in his emotional final outing with Ferrari.

His team mate Charles Leclerc is significantly out of position after an unfortunate track limits error and 10-place grid penalty leaves him starting at the back for Sunday's race – but can he charge through the field to help in their bid for constructors' glory?

Another dark horse could be Nico Hulkenberg, who achieved his best qualifying result of the season in P4 before he was handed a three-place grid penalty for overtaking cars at the pit exit, and will now be aiming to maximise Haas's strong pace to outscore Alpine for P6 in the constructors'.
