Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri will resume their fight for the Drivers' Championship this weekend at Austin's Circuit of The Americas, two weeks after the McLaren duo made contact on the opening lap of the race that left Piastri asking: "Are we cool with Lando just barging me out of the way?"

Naturally, the clash was on the agenda when the two drivers headed back to MTC for their usual post-race debrief with the team (which also included celebrating defending their Teams' Championship with the team and their families) and while McLaren accepted there was "no malice" in Norris' move, they believed he was ultimately at fault.

"The conversations after Singapore have been very positive, very constructive," Team Principal Andrea Stella told me when we chatted in the Circuit of The Americas paddock on Thursday evening.
