Our final Chinese Grand Prix betting predictions before lights out in Shanghai
Our expert betting writers give their final betting market predictions ahead of the Chinese Grand Prix.

Kimi Antonelli claimed his first Grand Prix pole during Qualifying at the Chinese Grand Prix and the Italian is priced with bookmakers at 7/4 (2.75, +175 ) to extend the celebrations and record his first victory in Shanghai.
The Mercedes teen made the most of some technical issues suffered by team mate George Russell, whose only attempt in Q3 fell 0.222 seconds short of Antonelli's best.
His attempt was still enough to make it back-to-back Mercedes lock outs on the front row and the Mercedes duo are in a strong position to push for more points on Sunday, with Russell currently 13/20 (1.65, -154) to win in China.
As for Ferrari, Lewis Hamilton is priced at 8/1 (9.0, +800) for a first Grand Prix win since Silverstone in 2024 after qualifying in third place ahead of his team mate Charles Leclerc at 9/1 (10.0, +900).
Our betting writers have made their final betting predictions before lights out and offered an insight into what odds could be worth backing in Shanghai.

Ferrari closing the gap
Looking back to Australia, Ferrari were left a little disappointed in Qualifying with Leclerc finishing fifth and more than eight-tenths of a second off Russell’s pole lap.
Fast-forward one week and the gap was much smaller in Shanghai with both Leclerc and Hamilton filling the second row and only 0.3 seconds from Antonelli.
The Scuderia are even more competitive in race trim and after causing major problems for Mercedes in the early laps in Melbourne, they will be preparing to apply more sustained pressure this week.
Grand Prix polesitter Antonelli made a poor start in the Sprint race, while Russell hit mechanical trouble during Qualifying and Ferrari are ready to make the most of any slip-ups the Silver Arrows make.
Bookmakers are offering Leclerc and Hamilton to both be on the podium at 13/8 (2.63, +163) which is an interesting bet for racing fans to consider.
McLaren may have a cushion to midfield
Race pace seems to be less of a strength for defending Constructors' Champions McLaren in Shanghai, but they could still be in line to get extra points on the board.
World Champion Lando Norris managed to hold off Max Verstappen for fifth place in Australia last week, but the Dutchman's Red Bull team have struggled to match that performance this weekend and both he and team mate Isack Hadjar risk being swallowed up into the midfield battle.
McLaren will want to challenge Mercedes and Ferrari at the front of the race, with Red Bull's issues potentially giving them some extra breathing room behind.
Norris and Oscar Piastri are 11/8 (2.38, +138) to pick up at least 11 points in the Chinese Grand Prix, with a sixth and eighth place finish yielding 12 points and a repeat of their Sprint result when Norris was fourth and Piastri sixth would bring the team 20 points.

Bearman looks a bet at a big price
Oliver Bearman began the season with an excellent seventh place finish in the Australian Grand Prix and the young Haas driver is in an excellent position to add more points to his tally from 10th place on the grid in China.
Bearman, who also picked up a point for finishing eighth in the Sprint on Saturday, is 3/4 (1.75, -133) for another top-10 finish, but it could be worth taking the 11/2 (6.5, +550) odds for him sneaking into the top six.
The Brit managed three top-six finishes in the final 10 races of last season and, while he may struggle to break into that group on sheer pace, there is plenty of scope for drama ahead of him that he needs to be ready to benefit from.
