From a big opening in the title race to Ferrari in the mix, and from a long run to Turn 1 to the added challenge of cooling, here are five things look out for when the lights go out on race day in front of another sellout crowd in Mexico City.

1. Norris’ big championship opportunity

Ever since retiring from the Dutch Grand Prix, Lando Norris has been slowly but surely eating into the lead team mate Oscar Piastri had built up in the Drivers’ Championship, reducing it to 14 points heading into this weekend.

And while no points are paid out after qualifying, the grid positions of the main title contenders provide Norris with a huge chance to erase that deficit completely.
