McLaren's title contender Lando Norris put in a mighty lap to take pole position ahead of Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton under the lights of the Marina Bay Street Circuit.
Building on his P1 performances from FP2 and FP3, the Briton clocked a rapid time of 1m 29.525s, outqualifying his championship rival by two-tenths whilst his team mate Oscar Piastri settled for fifth place.

The bulk of Q3 was significantly delayed after the Ferrari of Carlos Sainz found the barrier at the beginning of the session, bringing out the red flags and sealing a P10 race start for last year’s race winner in Singapore.
Further down the order, the at-risk Daniel Ricciardo was knocked out in Q1 whilst the Williams duo of Alex Albon and Franco Colapinto battled tyre difficulties to set the 11th and 12th fastest times, separated by just 0.007s.
