Lando Norris took a commanding victory at the Singapore Grand Prix, leading from the opening lap to finish a whopping 20s ahead of his championship rival Max Verstappen and team mate Oscar Piastri.
For the first time, Norris maintained his pole position advantage on Lap 1 to rapidly build up a dominant lead over the Red Bull driver, but lost out on scoring the bonus point for fastest lap to Daniel Ricciardo at the last gasp.

It was a clean race that extended the number of rounds without a safety car to nine, although the race winner had a couple of near misses as he suffered minor damage to his front wing and grazed the wall at numerous points.
Piastri improved from qualifying in P5 to finish on the last step of the podium ahead of George Russell as Lewis Hamilton, who endured a long stint after pitting early, was passed by Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc for fifth in the late stages.
After a tough qualifying session saw him start at the tail end of the top 10, Carlos Sainz had moved up to P7 by the time the chequered flag fell, albeit significantly behind his Monegasque team mate.
Rounding out the top 10 were Fernando Alonso and Nico Hulkenberg, both of whom did an impressive job in holding back Sergio Perez who took the final point in Singapore.
Elsewhere, Alex Albon retired from the race with a suspected power unit issue as his fellow Williams driver Franco Colapinto pulled off a remarkable overtake on the opening lap but ultimately settled for P11.
