Max Verstappen is something of a specialist at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, the venue that will host this weekend’s Mexico City Grand Prix.
The Dutchman’s won twice here, in 2017 and 2018, while he was fastest in qualifying in 2019, and within a tenth of pole in both 2017 and 2018.
Who better, then, to demonstrate how to nail a lap of the storied Mexican track, with F1 commentator and fellow racer Alex Brundle on hand to talk us through two of Verstappen’s laps around the 4.3km circuit, and reveal the differences between a good one and a great one.
