FP1 HIGHLIGHTS: The best action from the opening session of the Italian GP weekend
Mercedes took first blood at the Temple of Speed on Friday, with Valtteri Bottas quickest in first practice for the Italian Grand Prix ahead of team mate Lewis Hamilton.
Behind the Silver Arrows Alex Albon was third quickest for Red Bull at Monza, as his team mate Max Verstappen recovered from a crash that saw him lose his front wing and the session red flagged while the marshals cleared up the debris.

Elsewhere it was another difficult session for Sebastian Vettel who could only managed the 19th fastest time at Ferrari's home track, with his team mate Charles Leclerc in 11th.
