The second free practice session for the Belgian Grand Prix painted an intriguing picture at the top of the time sheets, with Red Bull's Max Verstappen quickest, followed by Daniel Ricciardo in the Renault.
Mercedes had to make do with an unfamiliar third fastest for Lewis Hamilton, with Valtteri Bottas down in sixth, behind Alex Albon in the second Red Bull and Sergio Perez in the Racing Point.

Of course, practice is just that – but Verstappen also pushed the Mercedes duo hard in FP1 on Friday morning, ending that session just 0.012s behind Hamilton, with both Racing Points also looking quick.
